About

I currently work at a politics reporter at USA TODAY where I cover Congress and campaigns. I previously served as the inaugural USA TODAY Washington Watchdog Fellow reporting for the politics and investigative teams while earning my master's degree in investigative journalism and public affairs from American University.

I have produced two investigative stories for USA TODAY— one focusing on prospective adoptive parents turning to social media platforms for newborn adoptions and the other highlighting the lack of oversight for private railroad crossings.

On the politics team, I cover the House and the Senate as well as the 2024 elections. I write breaking news stories on the daily legislative proceedings in Congress and enterprise stories on money in politics. My previous reporting as a fellow focused on the 2022 midterm elections, political extremism, campaign finance and Jan. 6 hearings.

I previously worked as a staff writer for County News, a bi-weekly printed paper affiliated with the National Association of Counties, a non-profit in Washington D.C. My reporting focused on how policy decisions in D.C. impact local governments.

I also have experience in broadcast journalism previously working as a web producer, assignment editor and producer for WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pa.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts in 2018 from Marywood University majoring in Digital Media with Broadcast Journalism and Production and minoring in Writing and Business.

As an undergraduate, I completed two production internships at NBCUniversal with The Rachel Maddow Show and E! News working with production assistants and producers to fact check show segments, pitch graphic ideas, assist with scripts and anchor produce.

At Marywood, I served as the station manager and news director of Marywood's campus television station, TV-Marywood, and as editor-in-chief of Marywood's online news source, The Wood Word. As Editor-in-Chief for two years, I determined content, managed staff, edited articles and produced online stories with print and multimedia components. I also served as news package producer which included producing and participating in shooting, writing and editing news packages. For one year, I worked as the news director producing a live, weekly news broadcast. I directed multiple TV-Marywood original programs including a six-hour, live election show produced for the 2016 Presidential Election.
